1. Definitions and acceptance of terms
In these Terms of Service:
- "Company" refers to Antkowiak Services GbR, the operator of ApplyFirst
- "User" or "Customer" refers to any individual accessing or using the Service
- "Service" refers to the job search and notification platform provided by the Company
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms of Service
By accessing and using the Service, Users accept and agree to be bound by this Agreement. Users who do not agree to these terms must not use the Service.
This Agreement applies to all Users of the Service, including without limitation Users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
2. Service description
ApplyFirst is a Job search automation platform that monitors multiple job sources and delivers personalized job matches directly to your email. Our service includes:
- Monitors job boards and company career pages that allow data collection
- Delivers fresh job postings via email at your preferred frequency
- AI-powered compatibility scoring based on your CV and job requirements
- Free-text filtering to exclude irrelevant jobs
- Shows which requirements you meet and don't meet for each position
- Customizable job searches with flexible location and title parameters
How Our Service Works:
- Upload your CV/resume during setup to enable personalized job matching
- Create job searches with specific titles, locations, and custom filters
- Choose email delivery frequency for each search (every 10 minutes to weekly)
- Receive email notifications containing newly posted jobs that match your criteria
- Each job includes a compatibility score and requirement analysis
Important Service Information:
- Job availability depends on market conditions and your search criteria
- We aggregate jobs from external sources and cannot guarantee their accuracy or availability
- Compatibility scores are AI-generated estimates and not employment guarantees
- You can modify or delete job searches at any time to improve results
- Email delivery depends on your email provider accepting our messages
3. User account
To access certain features of the Service, Users must register for an account. Users are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintaining the security of account credentials
- All activities that occur under the User account
- Notifying the Company immediately of any unauthorized account use
The Company reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at its sole discretion.
4. Payment terms
Payment processing is facilitated by Stripe, Inc.. By initiating a purchase, Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and current payment information
- Authorize the Company to charge for selected services
- Remit all fees in USD
- Accept the terms of service of Stripe, Inc.
5. User content
By uploading content (including CV/resume files) to the Service, Users:
- Grant the Company a non-exclusive license to use, process, and analyze such content for Service provision
- Confirm possession of all necessary rights to upload and share the content
- Acknowledge that content will be processed using Open AI ChatGPT Large Language Model for job matching purposes
- Accept that content will be stored on Firebase Storage infrastructure
6. Privacy and data use
User interaction with the Service is also governed by the Company's Privacy Notice. Key provisions include:
- We do not share user data with any third parties
- We do not use user data for advertising purposes
- User data can be deleted upon request to our customer support
7. Service limitations and expectations
Service Features Provided:
- Regular email notifications based on User-selected frequency
- Job listings matching User search criteria from major job boards and company websites
- AI-powered analysis displaying job-CV compatibility scores
- Capability for Users to refine searches for improved results
Service Limitations:
- The Company cannot guarantee job availability in all locations or industries
- Job posting accuracy depends on third-party source websites
- Some job listings may be filled or removed before User application
- Email delivery times may vary based on email provider policies
- AI scoring provides estimates and does not guarantee interview selection
For Users receiving limited job matches, the Company recommends:
- Broadening job title search terms
- Expanding location radius or searching nationwide
- Adjusting free-text filters to be less restrictive
- Updating CV documents with relevant keywords and skills
8. Prohibited uses
Users are prohibited from using the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Upload malicious content, malware, or harmful code
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Interfere with or disrupt Service operations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
- Deploy automated systems or bots without explicit Company permission
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee:
- Job placement or employment outcomes
- Accuracy of job listings from third-party sources
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Compatibility with all devices or browsers
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antkowiak Services GbR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
11. Modifications
The Company reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service following such changes constitutes User acceptance of the modified terms.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. Upon termination:
- User access to the Service will be disabled
- Users may request data deletion via [email protected]
- Certain provisions of this Agreement will survive termination
- Active User subscriptions will not be refunded
